Everyone talks about prospects, but no one discusses them in terms of value for this year only. You must take into consideration not only how well their talents will translate to the Big Leagues, but also how soon their respective organizations will call them up.
Only the top six should be drafted in re-draft leagues, but a strong argument can be made for 7-11 in deeper ones. Obviously, dynasty/keeper leagues will be a lot different, as they take into consideration the many years to come.
This list is for the casual player looking to pick up a late-round sleeper who could amount to something special this year. They’re also more valuable in leagues that allow NA slots (Not Active - different from IL slot, also doesn’t take up a bench spot.) or Minor League slots.
Without further ado, here are your top 25 prospects in terms of fantasy value for the 2022 season. (Only the top three should be targeted within the first 200 draft picks.)
